Code of Conduct

Not yet published

What a code of conduct is: the standards of behaviour a business expects of its directors, partners and staff.

What this policy is

A code of conduct sets out how directors, partners and staff should behave. It usually covers honesty, courtesy to customers, keeping customer information private, not using their position for personal gain, and speaking up about wrongdoing.

Who it applies to

No single rule makes every business publish the same code. Some companies, and lenders regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), must have conduct policies as part of how they are run. For other businesses it is good practice.
